I just recently purchased and mounted the Athlon
Midas TAC 5-25×56 on an RPR 6.5cm. Set to take the mile shot. Absolutely -hands down dollar for dollar worth every penny. Clarity and image sharpness are second to none and from 100yds to 1760yds this unit tied them together like they were at 10 feet. I was truly amazed at the quality and clarity of this scope. The image at 1 mile was beautiful it was clear and sharp and it held 1moa group at a mile 10 shots 10 hits all in 1moa group. And from 100 - 1000 yds it kept it under 1 moa. If you want to spend the money on a sticker (Big name brand) then it’s your money. But I’ll put this “Athlon” up agains the most expensive and it will take the them to school. If you look through it without seeing the name, you will swear it’s a 2k$-3k$ optic.

Absolutely the best scope I have ever owned. I have owned SWFA, Vortex, and Nikon optics over the course of my hunting and competition career.....and this is hands down the best scope I have ever used for either purpose. The floating dot in the middle makes shooting tight groups significantly easier and the level of tracking you get along with a 34mm tube for under a grand is astounding. I am 100% Athlon for life.

Amazing scope. It has gotten me multiple First Place finishes now. Perfect Tracking. And the loud, positive elevation turret clicks bring it way over it's price point in quality.
When shooting this optic on my 6.5 creedmoor makes 1100 yard shooting look easy. Crisp and clean imaging.
Great buy.

I have been using the Midas TAC 5-25X56 with the APRS3 FFP Mil reticle for several months and have shot approximately 200 rounds with this scope. The rifle is a Ruger Precision Rifle 6.5 Creedmoor. The scope replaced a competitor's 3-15X50 FFP MOA reticle scope that wasn't up to task, given my aging eyes, and was having mechanical issues (subsequently returned and replaced under warranty). I have used this scope to hit targets ranging from 460 yards to 1200 yards.

What I like about it:
Outstanding optical performance particularly at this price point
The APRS3 reticle
Well built
Excellent zero stop-and easy to set
Excellent tracking
Solid clicks on the elevation and windage turrets
Capped windage turret. Once cap is removed, the turret can be
dialed same as an exposed windage turret.

Have not identified any negatives with the scope thus far.

The scope is not illuminated which I don't think is a detractor. I have other scopes that are illuminated and I have never been in a position where I have needed to use the illumination feature.

Initially, I wasn't enthralled with the scope having a capped windage turret but I rarely dial for windage and have found this is definitely a positive feature as I don't have to worry about the turret being bumped out of zero (this rifle gets a lot of abuse). If I ever have a need to dial windage, the cap can be removed to expose the turret which is marked in .1 mil increments.

I've asked other shooters to shoot my rifle and tell me what they think about the scope and all have been very positive.

Overall, I have been extremely pleased with the performance of this scope and, given it's price, it is an outstanding value.

I recently purchased this Midas TAC 5-25x56 with the APLR4 moa reticle to put on a new long range magnum rifle. I have owned a Midas TAC 6-24-50 for approximately a year now and it has been outstanding. So when I needed a new optic the decision to go with another Athlon was pretty easy. It’s clarity and brightness are excellent and as expected it tracks true and precise. You can’t go wrong with a Midas TAC.
